Matthew was thoroughly annoyed. His lovers had gone too far for Valentine’s Day this year. He thought that they’d come to an understanding last year. Apparently, it was only on his part. He quickly took out his smart phone and logged into their group chat, which they’d agreed a while ago that it would make more sense since they were conversing with one another constantly. Frankly, he didn’t know why they had not thought of doing that right from the beginning, but it did not matter now. He was pissed off, and both his lovers had to be informed of his irritation and displeasure at their antics.

Matt: Babes, you both must be thinking that you’re such accomplished comedians. I told you Jason ended up laughing at me for a whole week last year.

Matt: Aiden, I told you last year that fifty red roses on our fifth Valentine’s Day together was a bad idea. What makes you think that delivering one hundred red roses this year is a good idea?

Matt: Edward, you know how I felt last year when you sent me that humongous heart-shaped chocolate in a pink wrapping paper and that damn shiny yellow ribbon. Is something wrong with your long-term memory? Why have you given me a gigantic, pink chocolate bear this year?

Matt: Are you both intentionally trying to piss me off? No sex for either of you tonight.

Aiden: Matt, come on. I’m not trying to piss you off. I love you very much, babe.

Aiden: Ed, your chocolate bear is a good idea. You must tell me where you get it from.

Edward: Matt, I love you. The chocolate bear is my creative way to tell you that.

Edward: Aiden, I’ll e-mail you the link to the website.

Matt: I hate you both. No sex for a whole week.

Aiden: I love you, Matt. Thanks for the cake, babe. I’ve shared it with everyone in the office. 20 x 20 inches is insanely huge though.

Aiden: And I love you too, Ed. Thanks for the dollar-shaped chocolates. One hundred is a tad excessive though. I’ve shared them with everyone in the finance department. Judith got first dibs as usual, naturally.

Edward: I love you both, babes. Thanks for the cupcakes, Matt. I’ve shared them with my assistant and my cashier. I can’t finish one hundred rainbow cupcakes by myself.

Edward: Aiden, thanks for the fruit kebabs. Next time, don’t send a hundred of them. I’ve shared them with the building management team.

Matt: You’re welcome, both of you.

Aiden: Ed, do you think that Matt is serious? No sex for a week? I can’t last that long without sex.

Edward: No, he loves us both too much. Besides, I don’t think he can last a whole week without sex.

Matt: You’re right, Ed. I still hate you both though. :)
